The TRUTH about the Tea Party Movement
The Tea Party is a rapidly growing movement, especially on Long Island. They claim to be working to "take back" our country. However, members of the Tea Party movement tend to align themselves with the most conservative and anti-Union elected officials on the local, state, and federal level. Many of their beliefs attack working families and they actively support candidates who are against such important programs as Social Security and unemployment insurance. It is of the greatest importance that we stand together in opposition of the Tea Party and instead, support the candidates and elected officials who support working families.
